Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania writer Jeff Loveness will also write Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
Loveness will join Destin Daniel Cretton who was recently appointed as the movie’s director. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige is producing.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will focus on the upcoming Marvel Phase 5 big bad, Kang the Conqueror (played by Jonathan Majors). The villain will be introduced in the third Ant-Man film following a brief tease in the recent Disney+ Loki series.
The Avengers movie was unveiled during the recent San Diego Comic-Con SDCC) and is said to bring an end to Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on 2 May 2025. The next Avengers film would be Avengers: Secret Wars.
Plot details are still under wraps, but appointing Loveness as the film’s writer seems like a good idea since the writer is in charge of penning Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and will be bringing Kang the Conqueror to life. By the time writing for The Kang Dynasty begins, Loveness would have known the villain’s ins and outs and hopefully, bring us a good movie.
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will effectively kick off Phase 5 of the MCU on 17 February 2023.
