Promotion for Deadpool & Wolverine has entered its final stage with the release of a brand-new trailer. Befitting of the trailer’s name, ‘Everyone’, the video teases even more characters in the movie.
The new trailer kicks off with a glimpse of Lady Deadpool, continuing from where the previous teaser left off. It then goes on to reveal more characters, including Cowboy Deadpool, complete with cowboy boots and an old-fashioned western holster. The footage teases an exciting lineup of Deadpool variants. Including the absolutely adorable ‘Dogpool’, we managed to spot at least four different variants (or their legs at least).
Deadpool teasers aside, Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson doesn’t hold back in the humour department, taking several jabs at Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. One standout moment features Deadpool quipping, “Disney brought him back, and they’re gonna make him do this until he’s 90.”
The trailer also features the return of fan-favourite characters such as Blind Al, Deadpool’s beloved blind landlord. It also shows the return of lovable teenage couple, Yukio, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. The trailer is a delightful mash-up of jokes and puns, showing that no one in this movie is safe from a good roast.
There will also be a special panel for Deadpool & Wolverine at San Diego Comic-Con coming on Thursday, featuring stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, along with director Shawn Levy and Marvel CEO Kevin Feige. This panel promises to celebrate the film and provide fans with exclusive insights and surprises.
As the only MCU movie of 2024, Deadpool & Wolverine is scheduled for release on 26 July.
