‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Teaser Marks End Of Henry Cavill’s Journey This June

At long last, Netflix has finally bestowed fans with an official teaser trailer and release date for The Witcher: Season 3.

The teaser is only a minute short and sees everything changing around our main characters Geralt (Henry Cavill), Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Ciri (Freya Allan).

The trailer also showcased flashbacks from Season 3 and a little glimpse of the Wild Hunt, Rience (Chris Fulton) and other villains. There isn’t much else revealed about the upcoming season but official synopsis reads:

“As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where they hope to uncover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery.”

We also know that season 3 of The Witcher will be Henry Cavill’s last time appearing as Geralt before handing the role over to Liam Hemsworth.

Season 3 of The Witcher will be released in two parts across the summer. Part one will release on 29 June, with part two debuting on 27 July.
