‘The Batman’ Deleted Scene Reveals Barry Keoghan’s Joker

Director Matt Reeves told Geek Culture he was considering releasing the deleted scene, and less than a month after The Batman hit cinemas, the director and co-writer of the latest blockbuster based on the iconic DC Comics hero, together with Warner Bros, have released a deleted scene that reveals the fourth rogue from the film, The Joker.

The Batman.

While Barry Keoghan’s take on the Joker appeared at the end of the movie, his appearance was shrouded in the shadows when he was communicating with The Riddler (Paul Dano), and the iconic pale face and green hair that as personified the character was not obvious.

The five-minute scene reveals a meeting between Batman (Robert Pattinson) and the Joker at Arkham Asylum, and you can watch it here.

The Batman stars Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Jeffrey Wright as Lieutenant Jim Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth and Colin Farrell as The Penguin.

Since its release, it has become the most successful film of 2022 so far, scoring rave reviews, including ours, and we have thoughts about it.
