It appears that we may be getting a third iteration of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge that will be located outside of the US.
This new Galaxy’s Edge is rumoured to be located in Disneyland Paris. According to a Reddit post by u/Godxon, there is an empty area located on the outskirts of Disneyland Paris, which is the tentative location on which the new Galaxy’s Edge expansion will be built. Also, the expansion is slated to be opened sometime in 2024, instead of 2022 according to the image below.
Also, another interesting factor is that this version of Galaxy’s Edge will be roughly half the size of the California one, and will apparently only feature the Rise of the Resistance ride, and not the arguably more iconic ride — Millenium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
The video above shows concept art of the potential new additions to Disneyland Paris, with what looks to be Poe Dameron’s X-Wing parked infront of the Paris Galaxy’s Edge, instead of the Millennium Falcon in the California and Florida versions. Curious.
Oh well, at least we might still be able to build our own lightsabers, as well as enjoy John Williams’ legendary soundtrack as we explore the area.
We’re not sure if it’s due to the fact that this Galaxy’s Edge opens long after the end of the Skywalker saga with Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker releasing at the end of this year, or that there will be other new Disney attractions, such as a new Frozen expansion that will be launched nearby that seemingly takes up more real estate on the grounds.
In any case, it’s still a good alternative to the California and Florida Galaxy’s Edges if you live closer to Europe. And considering how a new series of Star Wars movies are slated to release at around the same time this new Galaxy’s Edge’s opening, we might even be seeing totally new rides to go with it.

Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
