Sources Indicate ‘God Of War Ragnarok’ Launching This November

When it comes to first-party exclusives, PlayStation and Sony are the ones to beat, especially coming off the stellar Horizon Forbidden West. Of course, the next big game to look out for is Santa Monica Studio‘s God of War Ragnarok, and it seems we may be looking at a November release for the next adventure of Kratos and Atreus.

This comes via a new Bloomberg report, which suggests that a formal release date announcement for God of War Ragnarok is imminent later this month. The November date comes after rumours of a delay to 2023, and is also seemingly pushed from the month of September. The newly revealed The Last of Us Part I remake will now fill that September slot nicely.

Then again, such internal dates are never truly set in stone, and there is every chance it could be a placeholder date or experience another push. Nevertheless, it goes to show just how highly anticipated the release of God of War Ragnarok is, whether it be this November or sometime next year.

The game was first announced for a 2021 launch, only to be delayed a year and further on. The lack of news and details raised worries that the game was not proceeding as planned, but knowing the studio, it is best to let them do what they do best, and for us to enjoy it when God of War Ragnarok is ready.
