Fans of the Korean period zombie drama Kingdom will have more to look forward to in March 2020 with the release of Kingdom‘s second season.
The Korean drama was a huge hit the moment it was released on Netflix, with its combination of fast running zombies and historical atmosphere proving to be a recipe for success. The first season comprised of six episodes and starred Joo Ji Hoon, Bae Doo Na, and Ryu Seung Ryong who will be reprising their roles in the series’ second season.
The series is based on a webcomic, Land of the Gods, by Kim Eun-Hee who also served as the writer for Kingdom. With its gorgeous cinematography, brilliant acting and a great cast, it is easy to see how Kingdom become as popular as it did.
There is currently little news about what the plot of Kingdom’s second season will revolve around but it should likely pick up from the events in the first season’s thrilling last episode.
Fortunately for us, with the year almost over, we do not have to wait all that long for the second season of Kingdom to drop on Netflix.
