Samsung’s 2023 OLED And Neo QLED TVs Bring Visual Upgrade To Gaming And Entertainment

Samsung may be known for its smartphones, but the tech giant is no slouch when it comes to TV offerings. Last year, it surprised the scene with its first OLED build in many years, which boasts a Samsung’s OLED with Quantum Dot technology designed to produce superior colour.

For 2023, the Korean chaebol is looking to improve on its existing lineup, instead of rolling out more flashy TVs. The Neo QLED and OLED models are the focus of this upgrade, equipped with various features that enhance the gaming and entertainment experience. Kicking things off is the QN900C smart TV, the flagship 8K panel with AI upscaling, auto HDR remastering for clear, vivid images, and Quantum Matrix Pro technology, which brings hidden details to life.

With Neural Quantum processor 8K upscale picture content and Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound, the device looks and sounds good across all sizes. It excels in delivering detail, deep blacks, and vibrant hues, and comes in at 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch. Good news for those seeking a more wallet-friendly alternative — Samsung has got you covered, too.

The Neo QLED 4K QN90C offers the best price for performance, sporting 4K resolution, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz (for the 43-inch and 50-inch models only), and the Neo Quantum HDR+ and Dolby Atmos visual-audio combination. Making a gear shift to the gaming space, it ships with GeForce Now, which gathers over 1000 games in a single app. The slim-cut TV is available in 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch, bringing more user options to the table.

Rounding off the list is the Samsung S95C in three sizes: 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch. The OLED offering marries 4K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate to deliver rich colours, great contrast, and clean whites. Like its Neo QLED siblings, the device works to transmit multi-dimensional sound through Dolby Atmos support, and packs all of the visual and audio prowess into a stylish, sleek form factor.

There’s no word on local pricing for the QN900C, QN90C, and OLED S95C just yet, but the Samsung TV Tech Fair is the place to check them out in the flesh.
