With the constant rumours swirling around a potential remake of Resident Evil 3, it seems that it was inevitable that Capcom turned their sights on the Nemesis. And now, a leak may have confirmed what we already know.
As seen on Gamstat, a site that tracks new additions to the PlayStation Store, cover art for a Resident Evil 3 remake has been added.
The art style is strikingly similar to this year’s Resident Evil 2 Remake, and features familiar faces Jill Valentine, Carlos Oliveira, and the iconic Nemesis. Additional art for what is likely the Japanese version of the game is for the Z Edition.
Capcom, of course, has yet to offer any form of confirmation or comment, but a remake of the third game is likely one of gaming’s worst kept secrets. With The Game Awards 2019 incoming, it seems like the best place to unveil your next big game in just a week’s time on December 12.
