Reebok Is Bringing Back Bishop’s Alien Stompers On Alien Day For Its 40th Anniversary

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Ridley Scott’s Alien, Reebok will be bringing back a special edition of the mid-top Alien Stomper famously worn by the Lance Bishop in the 1986 sequel Aliens.

The mid-top Alien Stomper was originally released alongside an ultra high-cut pair of Alien Stompers, modelled after the pair worn by the main heroine Ellen Ripley, for Alien Day 2016. Not surprisingly, both pair sold out pretty quickly.

Another two pair of custom design stompers were released for the franchise’s 2017 celebrations, this time modelled after Ripley’s Power Loader and the Xenomorph Alien Queen.

Bishop’s Alien Stompers will retain much of its original appearance in the film, with a cream leather top, grey suede on the heel and strap, a large mid-foot strap, and red detailing. The Reebok branding can be found on the lateral and medial portion of the strap, and along the ankle strap and heel.

According to Sole Collection, this special edition release will also come with “a bright green 40th anniversary hang tag, yellow “Official Issue” tag, and Weylan-Yutani key chain”, as well as “a unique box design, dust bag, and Nostromo documentation” guaranteed to please any fan of the Alien franchise.

The “40th Anniversary” Alien Stomper Bishop Edition will be available on April 26, aka Alien Day, for US$180 at selected retailers such as Overkill.
