Pokémon x Adidas Kicks Get Another Evolution To Midsole Mosaic Design

Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and Pokémon – fans have seen (or caught) ’em all from the likes of adidas. Less than a month after the industry giant kicked off (ha) the launch of their adorable, 8-bit Pokémon sneakers, it has added yet another design to the themed series, this time with a midsole mosaic taking centre stage.

Featuring the same white base as its earlier-released sibling, the latest pair of kicks on the block will not have the beloved, yellow-furred Pikachu as its main star. Instead, its entire midsole is set to be lined with a tasteful, minimalistic tapestry of selected Pokémon, where familiar faces like Bulbasaur, Eevee, Ditto, and Magikarp can be spotted.

The new entry isn’t quite that different from the previous design, though it does seem to be a little plain and monotonous, especially with the lack of a coloured touch that’s present in the latter.

Still, it all boils down to personal preference. The fine lineart on the sneakers makes for a nice, elegant aesthetic, but what’s more important too is the inclusion of other Pokémon babies on the outside, because they could sure use more love.

Expect this Pokémon x adidas design to hit shelves and the official website within the next few months, where you can wear them with complete conviction to become the very best that no one ever was.
