Rogue One director Gareth Edwards is set to direct the film off Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp’s screenplay, and Steven Spielberg serves as executive producer. Cast members from the previous Jurassic World films are not expected to return, with the series marking a new instalment in the film franchise.

Until then, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, Netflix’s animated series set in the time period of the recent films, continues the hype for the dinosaur franchise as it makes its debut on 24 May. There’s plenty of exciting things in store for the films, and we’re excited to see where the franchise is headed.

The new Jurassic World movie is set to premiere on 2 July 2025.
