LG Singapore OLED TV 2023

LG Singapore Leads 2023 Line-up With S$60,000 88-inch OLED TV

LG has established itself as leader of the OLED TV pack for the past 10 years, and its momentum isn’t stopping anytime soon. The electronics giant is bringing its 2023 lineup to Singapore this April, which includes an 88-inch LG Z3 OLED TV, the brand-new QNED series, and a more wallet-friendly range.

Priced at a whopping S$59,999, the LG Z3 boasts 8K resolution (7,680 x 4,320), the upgraded α9 AI Processor, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. A selection of 10 different picture modes allows users to switch between them to fit various scenarios, while NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync support adds a high-performing edge with smoother frame rates and enhanced gameplay.

The same α9 processor magic carries over to the G3 OLED evo series that comprises the 83-inch (S$17,999), 77-inch (S$11,999), 65-inch (S$6,299), and 55-inch (S$4,799) models. Instead of 8K resolution, they feature a 4K display (3,840 x 2,160) with a 120Hz native refresh rate, and pack all of that into its ultra-seamless One Wall Design, which leaves no visible gaps between the wall and screen when mounted. Like the Z3, the TVs also offer G-Sync and FreeSync support.

There’s the C3 evo range for more sizing and pricing options as well, including 83 inches (S$15,499), 77 inches (S$10,499), 65 inches (S$5,499), 55 inches (S$4,099), 48 inches (S$2,549), and 42 inches (S$2,449). These TVs are largely similar to their G3 counterparts, offering the same 4K Ultra HD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

For those with a leaner budget, the A3 and B3 OLED models serve as more affordable alternatives without compromising on performance. The former lineup introduces the 65-inch, 55-inch, and 48-inch variants for S$4,399, S$3,299, and S$2,249 respectively, sporting the less powerful α7 processor, 4K Ultra HD resolution, and a 60Hz native refresh rate.

Meanwhile, the 77-inch (S$8,499), 65-inch (S$4,699), and 55-inch (S$3,499) models make up the B3 roster. Likewise, these TVs feature 4K Ultra HD resolution and the α7 processor, but pack more of a punch with their 120Hz refresh rate.

What’s new to this year’s catalogue is the QNED range, which looks to deliver vibrant tones, enhanced colour accuracy, and great detail with LG’s Quantum Dot NanoCell Colour
Technology. The sleek design comes paired with the α7 processor, 4K Ultra HD resolution, and a refresh rate of 120Hz, with the model available in four sizes: 86 inches (S$5,499), 75 inches (S$3,799), 65 inches (S$2,599), and 55 inches (S$1,949).

Rounding off the list is the LG UHD series, lined up with 86-inch (S$2,999), 55-inch (S$1,099), 50-inch (S$899), and 43-inch (S$699) models that offer 4K Ultra HD resolution and a 60Hz native refresh rate — the exception being the 86-incher, which boasts a 120Hz refresh rate.

The 2023 LG TV lineup will be available from April 2023 on Shopee, Lazada, KrisShop, and authorised retailers, including Audio House, Best Denki, Courts, Gain City, Harvey Norman, Mega Discount Store, and Parisilk.
