LG Subscribe Leasing Service Debuts In Singapore, Alongside Updated 2025 Home Appliances

LG is looking to improve the smart home experience for users in Singapore, with its updated 2025 lineup set to introduce new refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and more home appliances in the coming months.

As announced during a press tour in Seoul, South Korea, for select media, additions to eight different categories will be rolled out in waves starting this May, starting with the Smart Inverter Multi-Door Refrigerator (T-VN6). The large-capacity offering is designed to address two key priorities in the Asian market: the lack of storage space and freshness preservation, featuring a space-prioritising capacity ratio that comes in at over 70 percent of the total storage.

Equipped with the company’s InstaView technology, it allows contents in the fridge to be viewed through a glass panel — now 35.9 percent larger than before — without opening the door. Knocking on it twice quickly reveals more of its interior, resulting in greater convenience and more significant energy savings.

The feature works in tandem with other proprietary tools to beat the heat, including LinearCooling, which minimises temperature fluctuations within +/- 0.5 degrees to keep food at peak freshness for up to seven days; DoorCooling that evenly cools the fridge faster than conventional systems, the 630 mm-wide FreshConverter+, enabling temperature adjustment based on food type; and ThinQ support for remote control over the product and voice apps like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

The Smart Inverter Multi-Door Refrigerator releases in May, with local pricing yet to be announced.

Next on the list is LG’s series of washing machines and dryers, with the first being the WashTower. Boasting Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD) technology, it intuitively identifies the ideal washing pattern for each load and adjusts drum motions and cycle time based on load weight, fabric type, and soil level. Users will also be able to use the washer and dryer simultaneously, while enjoying decreased fabric damage, reduced rate of shrinking, and less noise and energy consumption.

Leveraging AI DD and 6 Motion technology, AI Wash proves capable of selecting the optimal wash motion based on fabric type and the protection of fabrics for a smart laundry management experience. Other notable features include AI Dry, which detects the weight, fabric type, and moisture type of each load, and TurboWash 3, designed to minimise fabric damage.

The WashTower is set to launch sometime this June or July, alongside the AI DD Washer, which runs on the enhanced AI DD 2.0 technology. Apart from all the functionality carried over from the original, pet owners can look forward to Pet Care Cycle that offers high-temperature washing up to 60 degrees Celsius with four warm rinse cycles. It should be noted that this is only present on the 25-inch build, however.

Rounding out the family is the AI DD Washer (F/L) and its T/L counterpart, outfitted with the additional EasyUnload functionality. It adopts an angled front design that lets users easily retrieve stray items from the bottom of the tub, with two new colours joining the existing three in Q3 2025. A release date for the F/L model was not announced.

Moving over to stylers, the LG RX5 Best touts three new features: built-in HandySteamer, AutoFresh System, and a 2.4-inch touch LCD panel. The first removes wrinkles and offers care for delicate clothing with its three-level high-pressure steam, whereas the AutoFresh System maintains optimal humidity inside the appliance through external air circulation after the cycle is completed. The mounted smart display, meanwhile, allows for customisation based on individual preferences and displays cycle descriptions, real-time updates, notifications, and errors.

The LG TX5 Best hits Singapore in July.

The final two additions to the LG’s 2025 home appliance range take the form of the DualCool AI Air and the CordZero A9. Powered by the company’s proprietary AI Air, the former delivers optimal climate conditions and enhances user comfort through fuss-free temperature, humidity, and airflow adjustment. The air conditioner is also decked out with energy-saving tools, including sensors that automatically activate power-saving mode to prevent energy losses and sudden temperature changes when human activity and open windows are detected.

As for the CordZero A9, the vacuum cleaner sports an automatic dust emptying system, an accessory storage that doubles as a charging station, 220W of suction power, and an illuminated one-touch control panel, all packed into a sub-3kg body. It runs on two batteries, each with a 60-minute lifespan, and is scheduled to launch in Q3. The DualCool AI Air, in comparison, debuts in July.

Also coming in July is the LG Subscribe leasing service, enabling users in Singapore to rent their desired home appliances and receive comprehensive product care. It covers a total of 23 products, from water purifiers to TVs and refrigerators, and is currently available in several Asian countries, including Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, and India. Singapore, Hong Kong, and other regions are next on the company’s expansion list.
