Leaked: First Looks Of The Xbox Series X Hardware!

As we edge ever closer to the Holiday 2020 launch of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, one can’t help but be curious as to how each flagship console of the eighth video game generation would shape up.

We already know what the Xbox Series X looks like from the trailer shown at The Game Awards 2019, but that was only the front. Many would no doubt have been wondering how it might look like from behind. Fortunately, we now might have an answer:

These images of what looks to be a prototype Xbox Series X was first leaked on a NeoGAF forum post, with the picture on the right revealing what sort of ports and inputs we can expect on it.

From what we can see, it looks to house two USB-A ports, a HDMI port, an optical audio port, an ethernet port, as well as a power input, sandwiched in between two sets of air vents.

Thurrott speculates that since it is a prototype model, what we currently see may not be on the final product itself, but so far it is the best look at the Xbox Series X’s backside that we’ve had so far.

Previously, a rendering of the Xbox Series X in 360 degrees was shown by AMD at CES 2020, but since then they have admitted that the render was a fake (via The Verge).

In any case, all will be confirmed at the Xbox press conference at E3 2020 later this year.
