Jameela Jamil Joins The MCU As She-Hulk Supervillain, Titania

Jameela Jamil is going from the good place to a very, very bad place. The actress, best known for her role as socialite Tahani Al-Jamil in Netflix’s sitcom The Good Place, is joining Marvel as a villain.

Jamil will play a supervillain named Titania in the new upcoming Disney+ She-Hulk series. Titania, aka Mary MacPherran, gained super strength and endurance after being taken to an alien planet where Marvel’s heroes and villains have been transported to battle it out. She eventually became a rival of She-Hulk.

She-Hulk stars Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer and cousin of Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo). In the comics, Walters gained Hulk powers after an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin.

Kat Corio is directing She-Hulk, with Rick & Morty scribe Jessica Gao joining as head writer. The series is expected to debut sometime in 2022, and will consist of ten episodes.
