There are some characters who will take a little while to grow on you, and then there are the instant favourites. In the case of The Mandalorian, the adorable Baby Yoda is that one immediate breakout star, melting the hearts of many with its childish innocence and charm.
With Hot Toys‘ new life-sized figure, you, like Mando in the Disney+ show, can now have The Child by your side. It stands at around 36cm (14 inches), and is crafted to great detail, from the creases of its robe to the wrinkles on its face. More impressively, this Baby Yoda build comes with full articulation and customisation options, which gives it an edge over Sideshow’s previously-announced statue that’s designed more for display than play.
A complete set of the collectible will include the following –
- Two pairs of interchangeable ears (relaxed ears x1, downward-pointing ears x1)
- 3 pairs of interchangeable arms (relaxed hands x1, force-using hands x1, accessory-holding hands x1)
- Beige-coloured robe x1

Priced at US$410, the Hot Toys figure is expected to arrive anytime between December 2020 to March 2021. It’s a bit of a wait, but no less aptly-timed: The Mandalorian Season 2 is releasing on October 2020, and the affection for Baby Yoda can only grow stronger.
