‘Assassin’s Creed Mirage’ Is Franchise’s First Game Fully Playable On iOS

Ubisoft is taking an experimental swing bringing hit game franchise Assassin’s Creed to Apple devices, with Assassin’s Creed Mirage being the first fully playable game on iOS. Apple users will be able to experience the game on the go when it launches on 6 June 2024, and will include both a free demo and a paid in-app purchase to unlock the full game.

With such a graphically intense game comes limitations on the devices able to run it, and the game will only be available on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad Air and iPad Pro with M1 chip or later. For those unsure if they should make the commitment, the iOS version of Assassin’s Creed Mirage offers a 90-minute free demo, after which you’ll have to make an in-app purchase for the full version of the game.

The controls have been adapted to the iPhone and iPad touch screens, and it’ll be interesting to see how it replicates the current format on PC and Xbox. Existing players will be able to continue their progress, with Ubisoft Connect supporting cross-saves.

The iOS version of Assassin’s Creed: Mirage is now open for pre-orders on the App Store ahead of its launch.
