In a seismic move that might signal Sony’s intentions to shift course ahead of the PS5 launch, Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn is reportedly coming to the PC platform sometime this year.
Reported by Kotaku, it would appear that sources with knowledge of Sony’s plans have confirmed that the adventures of Aloy will soon be exposed to the raw power of the PC Master Race.
This follows Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, Quantic Dream’s Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human leaving their PS4 exclusivity behind to jump to another platform.
Steam and the Epic Games Store will likely by the new homes for Horizon Zero Dawn, although that has not been confirmed as of yet. If this turns out to be true, it is likely to be just the first salvo in the battle for gamers’ allegiances between Sony and Microsoft as we head into a new generation.
