Harrison Ford Reveals First Image of ‘Indiana Jones 5’ At Star Wars Celebration

Earlier this year in February, news broke that the fifth Indiana Jones film had wrapped filming, but fans still had plenty of questions about the movie. The plot is a mystery, the uncertainty if this is Harrison Ford‘s last hurrah as the adventurer, and we still do not know the title. What we do have is Ford appearing at Star Wars Celebration to reveal our first look at Indiana Jones 5 via a new photo.

We see the iconic Jones crossing a bridge in a darkened cave, with just enough light to show off the familiar silhouette. The chills.

That was not all, the reveal was accompanied by composer John William and a live orchestra performing the classic Raiders of the Lost Ark fanfare. And for Ford, it was definitely a good time, stating to all those at the event: “John, this music follows me everywhere I go and I’m happy about it.”

Lucasfilm also kept its cards close, choosing not to reveal the title for Indiana Jones 5 yet again, and the waiting continues before we find out just what hijinks our hero will get up to in the 1960s.

The film will star Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal), Thomas Kretschmann (King Kong), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Shaunette Renée Wilson (Black Panther), Toby Jones (Captain America: The First Avenger), and Antonio Banderas (The Mask of Zorro) along with Ford.

James Mangold is the director, and Indiana Jones 5 is produced by veterans Steven Spielberg, Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall. The movie is set to debut on 30 June 2023 if there are no delays.

If you are in need of more Indiana Jones, there is also a new game coming via Bethesda/Machine Games and Lucasfilm Games. It will feature an original story and will have Todd Howard as an executive producer.
