At this stage, everything Star Wars-themed hardly comes as a surprise anymore, especially with the franchise dipping their toes into everything. In 2017, that extended to having the first-ever Star Wars Run in Singapore, where fans put on their track shoes in the spirit of fun, and as a love declaration for all things Star Wars.
Following a successful debut, Star Wars Run Singapore is back for another edition of fun, sweat, and cheers. Held in light of Star Wars Day: May the Fourth Be With You (when else?), it’ll take place around the F1 Pit Building vicinity, where a scenic route awaits.
The Jedi or the Sith…the choice is yours. Similar to the first event, participants are able to choose the side they want to represent for the two race categories available: 5.4km and 10km. This time, the young ones are able to take part in the 540m Young Jedi Dash as well, making it the perfect family affair for the night – be quick though, there are only limited spots!
As a reward for their efforts, runners across all categories will yield the following event exclusives:
- Event Tee (Dark or Light side)
- Tote Bag (Dark or Light side)
- Picnic Mat (Dark or Light side)
- Medal (Dark or Light side)
- Finisher Tee (Dark or Light side)
For the Young Jedi Dash category, the Finisher Tee is to be replaced by a plush bag clip.

Location: F1 Pit Building
Time: 5pm onwards (depending on run category)
A Star Wars event wouldn’t be complete without merchandise, and the Star Wars Run is no exception. Apart from a 55cm electronic lightsaber of three variants (Rey, Darth Vader, and Yoda), fans can also indulge their love in the series with some limited edition goodies, such as the Star War Run Singapore Umbrella, and character pins.
There’s bound to be a rush for them, but here’s where we step in. We have TWO Star Wars Run Singapore 2018 tickets up for grabs, which will include these limited-time items as part of the race pack! The winners will also get to choose which category to run in.
