The entire collection is inspired by Naruto, the widely popular anime and manga series. Michael has never shied away from his love of anime and it only seems fitting that his first collection reflected that. Naruto is apparently Michael’s favourite anime when he was growing up.
When talking about Naruto, Michael said: “The way of the ninja is personal to each ninja, but Naruto sticks to his word. He doesn’t break his promises.”
The 18-piece collection covers everything from head to toe (including bags) and while a t-shirt can cost US$95, the aviator jacket costs US$2,500.
On the Coach website, Michael B. Jordan is quoted saying “It was important to design pieces that represent my cultural influences and my community; pieces that I could see my friends, family and fans wearing with pride.”

The Coach x Michael B. Jordan collection will be available from 3 October at Wisma Atria and The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Prices range from S$165 to S$3900.
