Flagship Camera Shootout: Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max Vs Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

It’s the clash of the titans, smartphone-style. Now that Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro Max is out on the market, flagship devices are faced with more competition in the field of mobile photography. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra certainly made a strong impression with its quad-camera setup led by a 200-megapixel (MP) sensor, so it’s only natural to pit it against another powerhouse.

After all, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a lot going for it. In addition to the 48MP f/1.8 main camera, it boasts a 12MP telephoto camera, a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide, and an array of other features that pack even more of a punch. There’s no denying that both smartphones are dressed to impress, but the bigger question is: who is the better performer?

Taking to the streets of Chinatown, both devices were subjected to a photography and videography test involving low light, flare, and selfie shots. It should be noted, though, that a difference in technology is expected, as the Samsung S23 Ultra has been out in the scene for a few months now.
