‘Fallout’ Season 2 Will Feature Important Character From ‘Fallout: New Vegas’

After Fallout Season 1’s explosive ending with a victory for the Brotherhood of Steel, and Vault-Tec executive Hank MacLean headed for New Vegas in stolen Power Armor, there’s little surprise where Season 2 will be set.

Showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet revealed even more about the upcoming season in a YouTube video with Variety, hinting that the cameo Fallout: New Vegas character Robert House had near the end of the first season wouldn’t be the last appearance of the fan-favourite character.

The Fallout TV series takes place 15 years after the events of Fallout: New Vegas, and nine years after Fallout 4, which could mean that the TV show is canonizing some endings. In the events of Fallout: New Vegas, Mr. House served as one of the game’s antagonists, ruling over New Vegas from a supercomputer deep within the Lucky 38 casino.

In the game’s endings, the player character can choose to kill him, siding with either the New California Republic, Brotherhood of Steel, or Caesar’s Legion. Leaving House alive results in his Securitron army taking control of Hoover Dam and The Strip, and he continues running New Vegas his way, which is likely to be the game ending the show is going with.

“Many of our lead characters are Vegas-bound,” Wagner said in the interview with Variety. “Las Vegas in the world of Fallout is Robert House’s town. Robert House will be involved in season two.”

As the show’s characters grapple with the fallout of the revelations that occurred in Season 1, Season 2 is shaping up to bring even more action and intrigue to the show in New Vegas. Fallout is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
