Smartphone upgrades have become a yearly affair, but that isn’t the only device on Samsung’s agenda. During a Samsung Unpacked 2022 event in August, the tech giant unveiled its latest foldables and wearables line-up that ranges from the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 to the Watch 5 Series and Buds 2 Pro.
Leading the charge are the smartphones, which have been designed to offer customisable form factors, tailored experiences, and of course, upgraded performance. Where the Flip 4 builds on the self-expression factor to bring an improved camera, a larger battery, and expanded personalisation with a Bespoke Edition, the Fold 4 seeks to enhance the multi-tasking and shape-shifting design experience.
On the health and fitness front, the Galaxy Watch 5 series now ships with a host of new features that go beyond health monitoring. Apart from measuring body composition and analysing sleep habits, the smartwatches also offer directional planning and guidance for outdoor enthusiasts who might need it.
The Buds 2 Pro, meanwhile, has been repackaged into a more compact aerodynamic form, with Advanced Intelligent ANC and 24-bit hi-fi audio support in tow. All devices will be available in Singapore on 2 September 2022, but pre-orders are already live on the official website.
