Everything Announced At Ubisoft Forward September 2020

Ubisoft recently hosted its second Ubisoft Forward livestream event where it previewed more upcoming titles including the highly anticipated Immortals Fenyx Rising and the announcement of a Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, as well as a couple of other smaller announcements. 


Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, the iconic 2003 action adventure game will be getting a full-on remake with improved camera controls, graphics, and what looks to be an all-new combat system. The game is slated to release on 21 January 2021. 


Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition

The video game adaptation of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s iconic comic series will be making a return a decade after its initial release. The complete edition will come with DLC characters such as Knives Chau and Wallace Wells. The game will be returning this Holiday 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. 


Immortals Fenyx Rising

Ubisoft has finally unveiled more information on the upcoming Immortals Fenyx Rising with a new cinematic trailer. It gives us a glimpse of its world that is heavily inspired by Greek mythology, and its gameplay that is in turn heavily inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game is set to release on 3 December 2020. 


Riders Republic

Ubisoft has just announced its massive multiplayer extreme sports game Riders Republic which comes from the creators of Steep, and is indeed steeped in all kinds of activities to get your blood racing and adrenaline pumping. Such as biking, wingsuiting, snowboarding and more. The game will launch on 25 February 2021 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, and PC.


Rainbow Six: Siege – Sam Fisher

It was previously announced that Splinter Cell’s Sam Fisher will be heading to Rainbow Six Siege as an Operator and during the latest Ubisoft Forward, a new Rainbow Six Siege trailer was released starring Fisher and introducing a little more of the game’s lore. Fisher is now available in-game.


Just Dance 2021

Ubisoft’s popular dance game will be back with its 2021 edition that will come with new songs and features for players to have fun and boogie out to. Just Dance 2021 will be released on 12 November.


Far Cry VR

Far Cry will be getting a VR game with Far Cry VR: Dive into Insanity which seems to be based on the events of Far Cry 3. The game will only be available at Zero Latency VR facilities and will be available in 2021.


AGOS: A Game of Space

A new VR game centred deep space exploration has been announced by Ubisoft, and it is very aptly titled A Game of Space. Not much is known about the game as of yet but there is a cool trailer about the game released which could possibly show the various locations we can explore in-game. 


Watch Dogs Legion

Watch Dogs Legion will be getting a special appearance by London rapper Stormzy who will be featured in the game as part of a special Fall On My Enemies mission that will be out on 29 October.


Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Red Patriot

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be getting a new in-game expansion titled Red Patriot on 15 September 2020. 


The Crew 2: The Chase Season 1

The Crew 2, an open world online racing game, will be getting a new season’s worth of content themed around cops and robbers, including a new Chase Mode. The new season will be released on 25 November. 


One game that is notably missing is the naval action-adventure Skull & Bones but we have already received word that the game is proceeding with a new vision and we should expect to hear more from the game in time to come.
