If you’ve heard of Far Cry 3, chances are you might have heard of this iconic line:
Just for context, that’s THE definitive line from the game’s main villain, Vaas Montenegro, one of the most iconic video game villains of the current generation. And it looks as though he might be making a comeback.
Vaas’ actor, Michael Mando, sort of spilled the beans in a recent AMA on Reddit regarding his new music single. But of course, the Better Call Saul and Spider-Man: Homecoming star opened up discussion to films, shows, as well as games.
Naturally, fans veered to the topic of Far Cry 3 and Vaas. Here’s what Mando had to say regarding the character:
Thank you so much! Vaas is my spirit animal – having co-created that character is something that will always be dear to me. I still get recognized as Vaas, and I still feel the outpouring of love for that character – makes me very happy. Who knows… maybe I will reprise the role very soon? :p Thank you for watching xo
What exactly Mando meant by “reprising the role” as Vaas remains to be seen, but it naturally sparks the idea that a new Far Cry game featuring the insane villain might be possible. However, a remastered edition of the game might be more likely given how the character died in the events of the original 2012 game.
Despite this, however, Mando’s words might still be music to the ears to fans of the franchise.

Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
