EA has announced that its premium subscription service, EA Access, will be available on the PlayStation 4 starting July.
EA Access is Electronic Arts’ subscription-based digital service. This subscription gives players the privilege of getting their hands on the newest EA games early via the Play First Trials.
For example, when the new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order drops on November 15, subscribers will be able to play up to 10 hours of it via Play First Trials.
Subscribers can also enjoy a 10% discount on full game purchases, expansions, in-game items, as well as EA’s extensive catalogue of flagship titles such as Anthem, Apex Legends and Battlefield V.
EA’s subscription service will no doubt be an additional premium on top of the standard PlayStation Plus service, but this seems the best way to access new EA titles early on the PS4.
Players who are keen on subscribing have two main options: a monthly fee that goes for S$6.50, or an annual fee that costs S$34.90.
Marion has a serious RPG addiction. Sometimes it bleeds into real life; he forgets to sleep because he thinks he has a Witcher’s body clock. Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
