These scheduled releases are part of Disney’s broader strategy to dominate the box office by leveraging its successful franchises across Marvel, Star Wars, and its animation studios. Outside of the superhero realm, an untitled Pixar film is slated for a 18 June 2027 release, a few months before the debut of an untitled Disney Animation project on 24 November.

The remaining lineup spans 2025 and 2027, with two untitled Disney movies scheduled for 2025 (8 August and 12 September), and the others for the latter: 12 February, 5 March, 2 April, 28 May, 6 August. 17 September, and 8 October.

Disney’s ambitious 2027 film strategy also features an eagerly awaited addition to its Star Wars franchise. An untitled Star Wars movie will be released on 17 December 2027. This positions the film as a potential holiday blockbuster, building anticipation among fans of the iconic space opera.

Disney’s 2024 theatrical lineup is flourishing, notably with Deadpool & Wolverine making a sensational box office debut. Just last weekend, it secured the sixth-largest opening weekend ever recorded.
