Florence Pugh is back in action as Yelena, and the actress posted a sneak peek at the Atlanta set, where Thunderbolts is currently in production. Marvel also shared Pugh’s video on their X/Twitter account, confirming the blockbuster is now filming.

Taking viewers virtually around the set, Pugh, donned in Yelena’s new combat gear, sneakily told her followers that “I can show you things, sneakily, as long as you don’t tell anyone…I can show you a sneak peek of the set. They’re shooting. I’ll be quiet now.”

The camera then pans to a row of screens, one of which is playing footage from the film, before director Jake Schreier (Paper Towns) teasingly remarks that “I don’t even think you’re supposed to be doing this.” Fans were excited about the brief tease of the Thunderbolts production process, and with filming in progress, we can expect to see some updates soon.

Thunderbolts unites ragtag antiheroes Ava Starr/Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Yelena (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian/Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour), and Sentry (Lewis Pullman) recruited by Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) to fight a new threat, with a star-studded cast list. The film is slated for a 2 May 2025 release, two months ahead of schedule.
