Create The Museum Of Your Dreams With Upcoming Management Sim Mondo Museum

The gaming community has seen its fair share of management simulators, from the downright absurd like Hand Simulator to the standard familiarity of theme parks, zoos, and cities. Come 2020, Viewpoint Games’ upcoming title Mondo Museum is set to fit in nicely with the other members of the genre, allowing players to curate the museum of their dreams.

With over 100 items to mix and match from various collections – including dinosaur fossils, space exploration objects, and hieroglyphs – the game offers a creative space where imagination is the limit. Always wanted to build a history museum? No problem. How about a science museum? Easy. Be it the nature of the exhibit, there will be plenty of artifacts and objects up for grabs.

Museums aren’t the only spaces to be managed in Mondo Museum, however. Players have the freedom to curate theatres and gift shops as well, such that full control over the museum experience can be exercised for virtual customers. Challenges are also expected to be in store, with VIP visitors and “a shaky-looking dinosaur skeleton” set to arrive in due time.

But a museum cannot be run without a core team, and individuals are tasked to manage the likes of researchers, conservators, docents, and various staff members to take care of the displays. Naturally, this means that they will have to handle the visitors and their movements, too.

Decked out in crisp, stylish design, Mondo Museum should prove to be a tempting attraction for fans of the genre, except that it seems to lack in the artistic department. It would certainly be interesting to see if the final game will bring in the option of art museums, but even if it doesn’t, the varied experiences crafted by players are bound to incite awe and excitement when it launches on Steam in 2020.
