Capcom has announced the upcoming release of its Monster Hunter-themed collection of keycaps, designed to look like the different varieties of meat found in the game.
The keycaps will come in a box set consisting of six varieties, with each featuring different variations of meat on a bone, attached to a black keycap with a gold Monster Hunter logo. The collectibles will be compatible with any mechanical keyboard possessing a “+” shape keycap connection.
The six varieties within the full set include:
- Burnt Meat
- Drugged Meat
- Poisoned Meat
- Raw Meat
- Tinged Meat
- Well-done Steak
The figures are inspired by the iconic meat in-game items found throughout the Monster Hunter series that can be used in various ways, from being cooked to use as a consumable stamina-raising item to lures that can attract and drug monsters with different status effects.
The Monster Hunter keycaps will launch in May 2025 in Japan, and are already available for pre-order on digital storefronts such as AmiAmi for ¥5,540 (S$49.10). Its release is set to coincide with the launch of Capcom’s next title in the franchise, Monster Hunter Wilds, which will launch on 28 February 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
