At San Diego Comic-Con this year, Marvel revealed their plans for phase four in their epic timeline. The timeline revealed exciting new content rolling out in the next couple of years including Black Widow and What If…?
However, it seems more plans are underway as Michael Douglas, who plays Hank Pym in Ant-Man, spills the beans about the production schedule for the latest instalment for the franchise.
In an interview with Collider for his show The Kominsky Method, Douglas said ” The Marvel world has really been a blast! I love them, I’m having a great time. We’re starting a third [Ant-Man movie] in the beginning of January 2021.“
Additionally, it has also been confirmed that Peyton Reed will be returning to set to direct the third Ant-Man movie.
When asked about his voice acting as an animated character in Marvel’s What If…? series, Douglas looked genuinely perplexed and chuckles while saying that they have not told him if he is a part of the project.
Marvel has always been extremely tight-lipped about their projects and it isn’t surprising that Douglas is not even aware of the productions he is supposedly in. With that being said, fans can look forward to another Ant-Man film for Marvel’s phase five.
