Amazon Prime Video has finally rolled out a native macOSapp on the Mac App Store.
In the past, folks would have needed to catch their favourite Prime Video TV shows and movies on the Prime Video website or the mobile app. Now, consumers have the option to watch their favourite content on their Macs.
Aside from streaming on Macs, consumers can also download content for offline viewing. All of Prime Video’s content will also be available in the Mac app and will come with added features such as Picture-in-Picture and AirPlay support, as well as in-app transactions for TV on-demand purchases and rentals.
Plus, viewers can now have the ability to start content on one device and pick up where they left off on another device too.
An Amazon Prime Membership costs S$2.99 per month and comes with various perks. On top of access to Amazon’s treasure trove of tv shows and movies on Prime Video, members also get free and fast delivery on their Amazon orders, games from Amazon Prime Gaming, and groceries delivered to their doorstep with Amazon Fresh.
The Amazon Prime Video app is free and is compatible with macOS Big Sur (11.4) and later.
