Transformers fans love the heroic Autobots over the evil Decepticons, but when it comes to the toys, there’s no denying the appeal of the villainous robots in disguise. And the toy makers know that, and we’ve managed to snag two new Transformers figures for a global exclusive reveal and unboxing, courtesy of the good folks at Hasbro Singapore.
First up, we have the Transformers Generations Selects Megatron. This special edition Megatron sports a retro-looking purple and green camo deco, inspired from the original G2 release way back in 1992. The figure comes with a sword and fusion cannon accessory, and transforms from robot to tank mode in 21 steps.
The second figure is the Transformers Generations Selects Sandstorm, which is actually a long-awaited toy inspired by an unreleased G2 prototype figure that was uncovered in 2007. Featuring desert camo deco and a ferocious snarling face on the nose of the jet mode, it comes with 2 null ray accessories and transforms from robot to jet mode in 25 steps.
Here are some closer looks at both Decepticons in their respective vehicle modes.
