‘Til All Are One is about to be redefined on 17 September 2026, as Geek Culture is teaming up with Shaw Theatres in Singapore to bring the ultimate celebration, with the premiere of the 40th Anniversary screening of 1986’s The Transformers: The Movie to all fans in Singapore, as part of the film’s theatrical return for ongoing “The Apology Tour”.
As part of Hasbro’s tongue-in-cheek, year-long 2026 promotional campaign, the tour is the toymaker’s way of asking fans for forgiveness for traumatising a generation of children by killing off Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, 40 years ago.
Shaw Theatres, in partnership with Fathom Entertainment, is bringing the 1986 animated classic back in 4K to cinemas for a limited time, starting with a one-night-only celebration premiere on 17 September (Thursday) at 7pm at Shaw Lido 1 Theatre.
Why is this a premiere for a 40-year-old film that fans have probably watched dozens of times over the years? Well, this new 4K anniversary edition includes a special 12-minute animated short at the end, titled Optimus Prime: Awakening, which is the late Peter Cullen’s final performance as the Autobot leader.
And when we say ‘Til All Are One, we are not kidding, as Geek Culture has gathered the largest collection of Transformers partners – Hasbro Singapore, Blokees, Yolopark, Killerbody, MegCorp and The Falcon’s Hangar – to put together an exclusive, one-time-only 300-ticket bundle set to celebrate this momentous occasion with Transformers fans in Singapore.

The movie will have a limited release in Singapore, but there are only 300 ticket bundles available for this premiere screening, available directly through Shaw Theatre’s website, from 12pm onwards, on 3 September (Thursday), while stocks last. As part of this premiere, Shaw Theatres will also be hosting an exclusive Transformers Community Event, where visitors will get a chance to meet local Transformers artists @chewcharsiew, as well as @kansaaieitj who will be doing commissions. Meanwhile, @clawsou, @mrrexydraws, @kou.rou_bao, @agonydraws, @drakoblossom and @kansaaieitj will also be present, to pass fans a few surprises for the night.
The community event, along with tickets and goodie bags collection will start at 5pm on 17th September. As this is a celebration of all things Transformers, be sure to come dressed in your best TF outfits, and accessorise with your favourite TF gear.
