If you’ve missed out on collecting each of the Stunticons for form Menasor over the years, Hasbro Pulse now has a Multipack that comes packed with all five Stunticons in one neat package – the Transformers Legacy: Evolution Stunticon Menasor Multipack.
The Stunticons comprise of Wild Rider, Drag Strip, Dead End, Breakdown and Motormaster. Each figure converts from robot to vehicle mode, and Motormaster’s trailer converts into a battle station.
Having grown up loving the G1 Transformers from the ’80s, the Stunticon Menasor holds a special place in our geeky hearts, and the existence of a custom upgrade kit to give Menasor a much-needed upgrade was way too tempting to pass up on. The DNA Design DK-38 Legacy Combiner Upgrade Kit gives Menasor a beefier sword accessory, chest piece and lower torso, as well as longer thighs, fully articulate fingers, and bigger feet.
Check out the differences below after the upgrades were applied. The left image is the original while the right image is with the upgrade kit applied.
The upgraded sword is even able to mount on the back of Menasor, which is a nice touch.
Additionally, the trailer for Motormaster (in vehicle mode) is extended to give it a more complete look, although the colour doesn’t quite match due to the different plastic materials used.
The end result definitely gives Menasor better proportions overall, especially his sword, and makes it almost worthy of a Titan Class category collectible.
