The official trailer to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is out, and boy, is the world out for Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt.
The seventh entry to the Mission: Impossible franchise, Dead Reckoning Part One sees Hunt embark on yet another dangerous mission. This time, to track a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands.
The trailer sees Cruise driving a motorcycle off a cliff, engaging in a high-speed car chase and jumping out of a moving train. Seriously, is there any stunt that Crusie can’t do? The trailer also featured the movie’s sprawling cast including long-timers Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Czerny, Vanessa Kirby and Frederick Schmidt.
Dead Reckoning Part One also adds newcomers Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Cary Elwes, Rob Delaney, Indira Varma, Shea Whigham, Mark Gatiss, Esai Morales and Charles Parnell.
Dead Reckoning Part One is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who previously helmed Rogue Nation and Fallout. It is scheduled to premiere in theatres on 12 July. Meanwhile, Part Two is due to bow on 28 June 2024.
