Ever wanted to attend a convention dedicated to all thing tabletop gaming? TableCon Quest, happening on 22 and 23 June this year at Suntec City, has you covered with opportunities to play or pick up a new game, miniature painting sessions, indie game showcases, and more. Organized by entertainment company Eliphant, who ran GameStart Asia, the convention is set to gather like-minded gamers and curious beginners.
TableCon Quest will run tabletop gaming sessions, including Dungeons & Dragons and other games that visitors will be able to sign up for, whether you’re new to the scene or a seasoned gamer. There’ll also be a game library where you can rent games from, and a dedicated area to try out these games.
Of course, we can’t forget the merch, and the convention will have boothers selling tabletop gaming related items. The Singapore Games Association (SGGA) will also be at the event with a showcase booth of their own, putting the spotlight on indie games. Miniature painting workshops and hands-on-activities will be hosted, so bring a mini or two, or take the opportunity to purchase one of your own.
And if you’ve always wanted to pretend you’re in a fantasy setting and drink some mead, the Lion City Meadery has a special brew for the occasion, along with food to refuel after you’ve had a satisfying gaming session.
