‘Street Fighter 6’ Team Ups With ‘Spy x Family Code: White’ In Epic Clash

As part of the festivities over at Anime Expo 2023, TOHO Animation got fans in a tizzy after teasing what is likely a collaboration that no one saw coming. That’s right, a Spy x Family Code: White and Street Fighter 6 crossover is happening, but details remain scarce on just what it will entail.

What we did get is an image drawn by Capcom‘s Chisato Mita, which has both Chun-Li and Yor as the main highlights, while Loid, Ryu, Bond, Anya, and Li-Fen stand by the side looking at the action unfolding.

Whether this means that we will see the characters from the Spy x Family Code: White movie make their way over into Street Fighter 6 remains to be seen. At the very least, with its robust character creator, we may be getting more options when it comes to hairstyles and costumes to help fans make their dream matchups happen.

This won’t be the first time that popular franchises decide to join forces in uniting their fan bases, and for Street Fighter 6 players and fans excited for Spy x Family Code: White, this is certainly something to look forward to in the coming months.

Street Fighter 6 is already available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while the Spy x Family Code: White movie is set to debut in Japan this coming 22 December.

Original manga creator Tatsuya Endō is doing the original work and character designs for the film while also supervising. WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks are behind the animation, with Takashi Katagiri directing and Ichiro Okouchi as the scriptwriter. The second season of the anime is also looking at an October release.
