StarHub Singapore Brings More Free Content To Help You Deal With The Stay-At-Home Blues

Good guy StarHub is back. Two days after making a S$200,00 donation to low-income students in Singapore, the service provider has extended its free preview period till 4 May 2020, 12pm, which coincides with the last day of the circuit-breaker system implemented nationwide.

Through StarHub Go, accessible through both its official website and streaming app, all StarHub customers will enjoy access to 29 channels such as Warner TV, ONE, BBC Earth, and more, at zero cost. Existing StarHub Entertainment customers, meanwhile, are privy to 32 complimentary channels on their set-top boxes, with some programme highlights being:

  • 30 Pesanan Suara (Every Sunday, 1pm on Hub Sensasi)
  • Airport Strikers (Monday to Friday, 830pm on TVB Jade)
  • Blue’s Clues & You (Monday to Friday, 945am on Nick Jr.)
  • DC’s Legends of Tomorrow S5 (Returns 22 April, every Wednesday, 950pm on Warner TV, same day as the U.S.)
  • Lee Dong Wook Wants to Talk (Every Monday, 11pm on ONE)

For the final cherry on the top, StarHub mobile postpaid customers are given free data-streaming privileges as well. It’s all pretty generous, and Johan Buse, Chief of Consumer Business Group, explained, “We want to do our best to make the stay-home experience more enjoyable for our customers. We are extending our free preview and included more channels to make entertainment even more accessible. We hope these programmes bring about moments of pleasure or relief to our customers, to support them during this circuit-breaker period. We are all in this together, let’s stay strong, fight on and together we can overcome.”

If anything, entertainment, with its ability to make viewers laugh, cry, and escape from real life, should prove to be a worthy companion.
