Star Wars Battlefront II Launches Celebration Edition To Celebrate Premiere Of The Rise Of Skywalker

Star Wars Battlefront II is launching a special celebration edition to celebrate the premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and we’re oh so excited.

The celebration edition allows fans to play the most complete version of the game. This means getting a complete collection of content updates from the game’s original release up to – and including – updates from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker once it releases.

With the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker updates, players can immerse themselves in brand new settings inspired by the film such as a jungle-like planet and Jakku! BB-8 will also join the game as a new hero and BB-9E will be playable in a support role for the First Order.

Apart from The Rise of Skywalker updates, EA has announced that the celebration edition contains more than 25 hero appearances including six legendary appearances.

Players would also get appearances from Rey, Finn and Kylo Ren. Players can also expect more than 125 Trooper and Reinforcement appearances, more than 100 Hero and Trooper emotes and voice lines and more than 70 hero and trooper victory poses.

Lucky new players of Star Wars Battlefront II: Celebration Edition will get to enjoy more than two year’s worth of free content updates and get the complete collection of customisation content upon purchase of the game.

Existing players can upgrade their current version of Star Wars Battlefront II to the celebration edition with a discounted price of $25 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Origin. Origin Access Premier members will have automatic access to the celebration edition as part of their ongoing subscriptions.
