This is also Sonos’ first speaker to deliver multi-channel surround sound – just pair two speakers with the Sonos Arc or Beam soundbar, and you’ve got a mini home cinema.
Leading artists and creators have also contributed to fine-tuning the Era 300, including music producers like Manny Marroquin, who has worked with Rihanna and Linkin Park, and film soundtrack mixers like Chris Jenkins, who won an Academy Award for his sound design on Mad Max: Fury Road.
The Era 100 series (S$499) is a remixed version of the Sonos One speaker, which boasts all-new hardware and software, with next-gen acoustics and design that deliver detailed stereo sound and deep bass. Its sleek and modern design blends in perfectly with your home and two angled tweeters sending sound left and right make for a rich stereo experience.
With a new UI bringing easier controls, switching the volume on your Era speaker is as easy as a volume slider that can be accessed from the Sonos app. You can also optimise the sound on your speakers with one tap on the app, which responds to the acoustics of your living space.
