Silent Hill Makes Surprise Return In Dead By Daylight Crossover

Behaviour Interactive’s asymmetrical horror survival game Dead By Daylight is no stranger to horror movie collaborations, having had some of history’s most famous horror movie terrors such as Ghost Face from Scream and Michael Myers from Halloween feature as killers on its game.

This time, Dead By Daylight will be returning to one of the staples of horror video games with Silent Hill, featuring a map based on Midwich Elementary School from the original Silent Hill video game and a new killer in Pyramid Head, also known in the game as the Executioner.

Here is the official description for the game’s new Silent Hill map,

Midwich Elementary School is the scene of unspeakable horrors. Any sense of the innocence that once marked these halls is gone. In its place: stained walls, rusted chains, hanging cadavers and a sense that things have gone horribly wrong.

That sounds downright terrifying. Now imagine being chased in the game by none other than Pyramid Head wielding his Great Knife. Though, if you’re more of a survivor then you can take on the role of Silent Hill 3’s protagonist Cheryl Mason.

Also, for the first time ever, you can get Legendary Outfits in Dead By Daylight. These Legendary Outfits are more than just skins, it lets you transform a character completely. Cheryl Mason’s Legendary Outfit changes her into Lisa Garland, the nurse from the first Silent Hill.

All these updates will be coming in a paid DLC for PC and consoles in June, though you can already try playing out as Pyramid Head on the PC public test server.

While this is by no means the new Silent Hill game fans have been hoping for all these years, it is still a great way to get a new taste of a classic horror game.
