With the RoboCop Returns movie sequel in limbo at the moment, fanboys will just have to settle with Robo’s return (voiced by Peter Weller) in a different form for now, as a Kombatant in the newly released Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion.
The expansion requires the Mortal Kombat 11 base game. New players can purchase the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection for PC, PS4 or Xbox One. Still not sure if you’re up for it? Whet your appetite with our video compilation of the various brutalities, fatalities, skins, and even the story ending for RoboCop (spoiler warning!) above. There’s even a cyborg face-off between the Terminator and RoboCop. Now if only we could have the Alien and Predator from Mortal Kombat X to join in…
Being Mortal Kombat’s first-ever major expansion, Aftermath features a brand-new cinematic story centered around trust and deceit. Fire God Liu Kang, the new keeper of time and protector of Earthrealm, looks to secure the future he envisions. In order to do so, he is forced to enlist the help of some unlikely allies and familiar foes. Players will have to decide who they can trust and who they must defeat with fate on the line. Forge a new history.
The expansion includes:
• All-New Cinematic Story
• 3 New Playable Fighters – Sheeva, Fujin and guest RoboCop
• 3 New Skin Packs, to be released over time
