Netflix’s ‘Sweet Home’ Invades Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights 12

Universal Studios Singapore is set to elevate the terror at Halloween Horror Nights 12 with a groundbreaking new attraction based on the Netflix hit Sweet Home. This marks the event’s third partnership with Netflix, following successful incorporations of All of Us Are Dead and Stranger Things in previous years. The collaboration will bring the dystopian horror of Sweet Home to life, just months after the show’s third season premiere in July.

This year’s event will feature the world’s first horror attraction inspired by Sweet Home, immersing guests in the nightmarish world where human desires morph into monstrous forms. Attendees will navigate the eerie Green Home apartment complex, venturing through key locations like Cha Hyun-su’s apartment and a chilling basement, recreated to embody the series’ most haunting scenes and grotesque monsters from the first two seasons.

Markham Gannon, Director of Entertainment at Resorts World Sentosa, expressed excitement about continuing the collaboration with Netflix. “Every haunted house experience is our creative spin on the source material while staying true to its essence – and Sweet Home is no exception. Korean horror is something that resonates well with our fans and we can’t wait to take Halloween Horror Nights to new, frightful heights,” Gannon stated.

Greg Lombardo, Head of Experiences at Netflix, highlighted the immersive nature of the attraction. “Sweet Home transports viewers into a realm ruled by mayhem and this haunted house will allow fans to experience it first hand,” he said. “Fans love losing themselves in the worlds they watch across the small screen, and now, they will literally be able to step into the chilling scenes and confront terrifying monsters inspired by the series.”

Halloween Horror Nights 12 will run for 18 select nights from 27 September to 2 November in Singapore. Tickets are set to go on sale on 13 August and can be purchased through the Resorts World Sentosa website.
