GeraldTo many a Star Wars fan, there’s plenty to love about Empire Strikes Back and LEGO has given fans even more reason to get hold of the latest LEGO Star Wars Betrayal at Cloud City (75222) playset.
Split into a few key sections, this playset makes one realise how many pivotal moments actually took part in the final act of Episode V. There’s the dining room with Darth Vader seated right at the end, the iconic Luke vs. Vader Lightsaber duel scene, and the Carbonite freezing chamber perfect for Han Solo which had its own standalone set a while back.
The real bounty to this entire set, to me personally, is the presence of a midi-Slave 1. The only thing missing right now is a midi-sized Millennium Falcon!
To add, the number of minifigures found in this set is pretty substantial as well. As pointed out by Brickfinder, this would be the first time we’ll be seeing Princess Leia in her red dress. Look at the details!
Given the amount of attention given to the minifigs, it seems that there might be one aspect that could have been lapsed in the build. Some eagle-eyed fans have spotted this small issue in the playset –
Minor concerns and it should be fixed in the final build.
Weighing in at 2,812 pieces, this set will set fans back by US$349.99 and will be available on 1 October 2018.
