Sony PlayStation’s ‘Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart’ Ports To PC, Best Played On 21:9 Ultrawide Monitors

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was released back in 2021 on the PlayStation 5 and was easily the best in the series. It all started 21 years ago, back in 2002 when Ratchet & Clank was released on the PlayStation 2. There have been hits and misses over the years (mostly hits) and this time, in 2023, the Lombax and his trusty sidekick have finally ported onto the PC for the first time ever.

If you already bought the game or planning to get it on either Steam or the Epic Games Store, be sure to check out our extensive game guide for the game to enjoy the game to its fullest.

Watch 45 minutes of gameplay captured on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti running at 3440×1440 in native 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio. With DLSS (upscaling) and DLAA (anti-aliasing) enabled, Ratchet and Clank never looked better! The rich, vibrant visuals of the game is perfect for filling up the extra space on the sides of the monitor. And for once, the in-game cinematics are also delivered in full ultrawide aspect ratio with no black bars on the sides (thanks Insomniac Games & Nixxes Software!).

For those interested, here are the system specifications for running the gameplay above.
