Following the exciting announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ on March 29th, the Korean company has followed that up with the more important news – how and when you can get your hands on these shiny new devices! If you are already saving your money for the latest Samsung has to offer, registration of interest and pre-order will begin from April 7 2017.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available for registration of interest with the usual telecommunication operators (Singtel, Starhub, M1), online at major consumer electronics stores, and even Lazada Singapore.
Of course, you can also place your pre-order at all Samsung Experience Stores as well as the Galaxy Studio located at Civic Plaza, Ngee Ann City (April 14 2017 onwards).
Coming in Maple Gold, Midnight Black, and Orchid Gray, the S8 and S8+ can be in your hands from April 29 onwards, for a recommended retail price of $1,148 (S8) and $1,298 (S8+).
If a new tablet is on your shopping list, you should also consider the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. It comes in both Wi-Fi ($898) and LTE ($1098) variations, and promises to “offer consumers a premium mobile experience” as a “stylishly designed tablet coupled with advanced computing technology.”
After the debacle that was the Note 7, the launch of the S8 and S8+ appears to be Samsung’s return to form, and for Android users, this is nothing but good news. Will you be one of the early adopters, or will you stay away at a safe distance and observe?
