‘Poohniverse’ Horror Crossover Movie Assembles Pooh, Bambi, Tinkerbell, And More

Avengers, assemble? The makers of Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey — the micro-budget slasher that turned the beloved bear into a serial killer — are saying, “twisted fairy tale characters, assemble!” instead. Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Films have taken a stab at creating the next most ambitious crossover project, and it’s none other than Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.

“It will be complete carnage. We are heavily influenced by Freddy Vs Jason and The Avengers. We would love to see a horror movie where the villains group together and are going after their survivors. We have some incredible set pieces in mind and some sequences I think will truly shock people,” said Jagged Edge producer Rhys Frake-Waterfield in a statement.

Many of the classic figures set to appear in Poohniverse will make their debut in their respective standalone films, including Bambi: The Reckoning, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, and Pinocchio Unstrung, which are releasing later this year. Kicking the slate off first is Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 on 26 March, serving as the sequel to the original creature slasher.

The 2023 film followed a six-foot Pooh and his sidekick Piglet, who have become feral and bloodthirsty murderers. as they terrorise a group of young university women and Christopher Robin when he returns to the Hundred Acre Wood five years after leaving for college.
